8th Maurice André International Trumpet Competition

Entries for the Maurice André 2027 International Trumpet Competition are now open.
Entry to the competition is subject to video pre-selection.
Conditions of participation
The competition is open to candidates of all nationalities.
Candidates must be under thirty-one (31) years of age on 21 February 2027.
Candidates under 18 years of age may take part in the competition provided they submit a written authorisation from one or more legal guardians, signed by the legal representative.
Application form
The application must be completed before 15 October 2026 and understand :
- the completed and signed registration form
- a valid official identity document
- a detailed artistic curriculum vitae
- a recent professional photograph with instrument
- payment of the pre-registration fee
Any application that is incomplete or late may be rejected.
Fees
The 50 € is a non-refundable pre-registration fee.
Candidates who are shortlisted will be required to pay an additional fee of 150 €.

Video content
The video must :
- contain the works requested in the first round
- be recorded in continuous takes (without editing)
- contain no sound processing
- are less than one year old
Indicative maximum duration : 12 minutes

- link available online (YouTube, Vimeo, Drive...)
- link valid until 15 November 2026
Any inaccessible link may result in the application being invalidated.
Results
The results of the pre-selection will be announced no later than :
