{"id":629,"date":"2022-09-06T11:38:57","date_gmt":"2022-09-06T09:38:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mauriceandrecompetition.com\/?page_id=629"},"modified":"2026-03-20T16:50:11","modified_gmt":"2026-03-20T15:50:11","slug":"faq","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/mauriceandrecompetition.com\/en\/faq\/","title":{"rendered":""},"content":{"rendered":"<h1 class=\"wp-block-heading has-text-align-center\"><strong>FAQ<\/strong><\/h1>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-pullquote\"><blockquote><p>REGISTRATION <\/p><\/blockquote><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What is the Maurice Andr\u00e9 International Trumpet Competition?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Maurice Andr\u00e9 Competition is an international trumpet competition in honour of the famous French trumpeter Maurice Andr\u00e9.<br>Its mission is to promote excellence in performance, support young talent and perpetuate its artistic heritage.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The 8th edition will take place in Paris from&nbsp;<strong>15 to 21 February 2027<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>How do I register?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To register, you must :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Send your complete application before\u00a0<strong>15 October 2026<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Fill in the online registration form<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Pay the video pre-selection fee of\u00a0<strong>50 \u20ac<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What are the registration conditions?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Be aged&nbsp;<strong>under 31 at 21 February 2027<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Not have won a First Prize in a previous edition of the competition<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What documents do I need to validate my registration?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The file must include :<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>payment of the pre-selection fee<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>the signed registration form<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a valid identity document<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a detailed artistic CV<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>a recent professional HD photograph with instrument<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Are there any other charges?<\/strong><br><br>Yes, the total cost is\u00a0<strong>200 \u20ac<\/strong>, The breakdown is as follows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>50 on registration (video pre-selection)<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>An additional \u20ac150 for successful applicants<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>When will I be contacted by the Maurice Andr\u00e9 International Trumpet Competition once I have registered?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Once you have registered, you will receive a confirmation e-mail which you should keep. The competition office may contact candidates with any questions relating to their registration.
